OziModz Information, Load Order & Usage Tips

SPECIAL NOTES: OziModz Mod Naming Conventions:

Every OziModz Mod, including each of the component parts of the GTR Logistics FLEETZ Pack has a unique Mod ID Code. These ID codes have been designed to provide a quick way to identify each mod and also the most important mod information which affects its use:

The first two characters "OZ" identifies it as an OziModz Mod.

The second pair of characters represent the catagory of mod as follows:

    OZAI-     AI Traffic Mod
    OZCM-   Company Identity Mod
    OZEN-    Engine Mod
    OZFX-    Fix Mod
    OZFZ-    OziModz FLEETZ Pack
    OZIN-    Truck Interior Mod
    OZPF-    Prefab Mod (Buildings etc)
    OZSN-    Sound Mod
    OZST-    Truck Skin/Paintwork Mod
    OZTR-    Transmission Mod
    OZTS-    Trailer Skin/Paintwork Mod

Some OziModz mods may include an additional character following the four letters shown above, such as:

m           For a metallic variant of an other paintjob.
P1:             For Part 1 of a multi-part Mod
P2           For Part 2 of a multi-part mod
A/B/C/D:  Designating that it is for a particular truck cab, i.e. Cab A or Cab B etc.

The next three(3) digits are the individual Mod Number which is followed by a dash  "-"

The character/s following the dash provide the following information:

A  = For use in ATS ONLY
    E  = For use in ETS2 ONLY
AE= For use in both ATS and ETS2

The last three digits designate the latest Game Version Number on which the Mod was Tested.

So, for example, the following Mod ID Code "OZTS073-A1.32" tells you that the mod is:

An OziModz Trailer Skin/Paintjob, Mod Number 073 for use only in ATS and was tested in ATS Version 1.32.

The individual OziModz Mod ID is used in all places for consistency and to make it easy to identify OziModz Mods everywhere in and out of game, such as in the Mod Manager, Mod-Manager Name List and Info Panel, Game Log, the Mod Folder and on the OziModz Website and will be used in any Support and Update information and correspondence.

MOD-MANAGER LOAD ORDER NOTES:

General OziModz Mod Manager Load Order & Usage Notes:

The following general guidelines should be followed to avoid mod conflicts:

1) The Paintwork Mods for SCS Trucks and/or Trailers, can theoretically be loaded anywhere in the Mod Manager as long as those for Trailers are placed ABOVE any map mods, as the Internal Mod Naming Convention that has been used is very unlikely to conflict with any other paintjob mods that you may be using.

OziModz Owned Trailer Mods and OziModz Freight Market Trailer Mods are independent of each other so can be in any order providing they are always both ABOVE any map mods.

Although it is very unlikely, if you do have problems with the OziModz Freight Market Trailer Mods then you may just need to make sure that you don't have any other freight market trailer mods above them causing conflict. If so, just move the OziModz Freight Market Trailer Mod ABOVE the other freight market trailer mods that you are using

2) The Paintwork Mods for Non-SCS Mod Trucks and/or Trailers need only be ABOVE the Mod Truck/Trailer for which they are made. Once again, the Naming Convention should preclude conflicts with other paintwork mods for these trucks.

3) All Interior Mods must be placed ABOVE all of the relevant truck mod parts, and ABOVE any other Interior mods you may have for these trucks.

4) OziModz AI Traffic Mods need to be ABOVE other AI Vehicle/Truck Pack Mods, but BELOW Traffic Density Mods such as Cips' Realistic Traffic Density mod.

Specific GTR Logistics FLEETZ Pack Mod Manager Load Order & Usage Notes:

1) The Truck Paintwork Mods for SCS Trucks; the Volvo VNL and The New Gen Scania 2016, can theoretically be loaded anywhere in the Mod Manager, as the Internal Mod Naming Convention that has been used is very unlikely to conflict with any other paintjob mods that you may be using.

2) The Truck Paintwork Mods for Non-SCS Mod Trucks need only be ABOVE the Mod Truck for which they are made. Once again, the Naming Convention should preclude conflicts with other paintwork mods for these trucks.

PLEASE NOTE:

The Kenworth K108 GTR Logistics Paintwork Mod contains two (2) Paintjobs:

One which is ONLY for use on the K108 Cab A (Mid/Low Cab variant)
and the other ONLY for the K108 Cab B (High Roof variant),

and,

The Kenworth T908 GTR Logistics Paintwork contains two (2) paintjobs:

One which is ONLY for use with the T908 A/B Cabs(Daycab & Daycab Sleeper)
and the other ONLY for use on the T908 C/D Cabs(Mid & High Roof Sleepers).

In both of the above GTR Mods both paintjobs have clearly identified Paintjob Icons
so that you won't have difficulty recognising which one to use.

This has been done to overcome some problems with the Truck naming conventions and to facillitate future changes.

3) All GTR Interior Mods, for the Renault T and the Kenworth K108/K200, must be placed ABOVE all of the relevant truck mod parts, and ABOVE any other Interior mods you may have for these trucks.

4) All GTR Trailer Paintwork Mods need to be placed ABOVE any map mods. The GTR Owned Trailer Mods and GTR Freight Market Trailer Mods are independent of each other so can be in any order providing they are always both ABOVE any map mods.

Although it is very unlikely, if you do have problems with the GTR Freight Market Trailer Mods then you may just need to make sure that you don't have any other freight market trailer mods above them causing conflict. If so, just move the GTR Freight Market Trailer Mod ABOVE the other freight market trailer mods that you are using.

5) The GTR AI Traffic Mods need to be ABOVE AI Vehicle/Truck Pack Mods, but BELOW Traffic Density Mods such as Cips' Realistic Traffic Density mod.

The volume of GTR Logistics Trailers seen in AI Traffic is intentionally set to a low level in order to approximate a more proportionate and realistic effect, seeing the GTR Trailers too often would detract from the intended realism since Europe and the USA are very big places.

IMPORTANT USAGE NOTES:

If you are using any traffic density mods, such as "Cips' Real Traffic Density" Mods then it should be placed ABOVE the GTR AI Trailer Traffic Mods.

The GTR Trailer AI Traffic Mods are NOT Compatible with the SISL Trailer Packs, for some reason, even when not using the SISL Trailer Pack "Replacement" Option Mod, the SISL Trailer Pack appears to still irrevocably overwrite all of the standard ETS Trailer Company Paintwork Definitions.

For this reason, I have included in the GTR Logistics FLEETZ Pack a GTR Logistics AI Trailer Traffic Mod which is designed specifically for use in conjunction with the JazzyCat Painted Truck Traffic Pack, so that it is possible to still use the JazzyCat Pack to provide a greater diversity of AI Trailer Traffic in game. When Using this addon mod with the JazzyCat Painted Truck Traffic Pack (V6.4 and above), it is important that the GTR ADDON for the JazzyCat Painted Truck Traffic Pack is placed ABOVE the actual JazzyCat Painted Truck Pack.

The JazzyCat GTR Addon can be used in combination with the Standard GTR Logistics AI Trailer Traffic Mods.

6) The GTR Logistics Company Mods need to be placed ABOVE any other map or economy mods.

7) The GTR Logistics Garage Mod must be placed ABOVE any map mods or mods that affect in-game garage prefabs.
